Can't cancel a mapped domain
-
My credit card was automatically charged me US$13 for a domain name mapping I set up a year ago but no longer want (kohineighbourhood.co.nz — purchased through an external provider).
I went to Dashboard > Store > My Domains and see the two domains I have mapped, but there is no option to cancel them. It does say that the domains I have mapped are both “manual renewal”, expiring in a year’s time. How were they manually renewed if I didn’t do anything? A link there says to “contact support” to cancel them. This is hyperlinked to a searchable common problems index where I find the relevant guide on cancelling a domain.
This page tells me to return to Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades and click the “cancel” button next to the domain in the “Subscription” column. I return there, however there is no “cancel” button/link.
The support page tells me that if there is no “cancel” button, I simply need to “contact WordPress”, which is hyperlinked back to the same support page I started on — the one that provides no contact details or form, only a searchable common problems index, basically trapping me in a loop .
So WordPress is automatically charging my credit card for something I don’t want, telling me I did it manually when I didn’t, not giving me any option to cancel it and not letting me contact them to tell them about it. Very frustrating.

The issue is that you are not logged into the account that owns the upgrade in question. Could you have had another WordPress.com user account at some time?
