Can't change blog domain name from .wordpress to .com?

  I am trying to change the domain name of my blog from frogslink.wordpress to .com.
  Your instructions say to go to Network Solutions (where I purchased the domain) and change the direction to which it is pointing, Only when I sign in at NS and start the process according to your instructions–they say I can’t do it unless the person at the other end gives them permission. In other words your instructions for “Move DNS to a New Server” is not helpful.

  Howdy,

  It sounds like you’re trying to transfer your domain name.

  There’s no need to transfer your domain name — you only need to change your name servers to:

  ns1.wordpress.com
  ns2.wordpress.com
  ns3.wordpress.com

  And then add the domain name under Store -> Domains in your blog’s dashboard.
