can’t change home page

    My home page and blog page are showing the same thing even though I’ve updated the home page to be a regular page, it’s still showing the blog posts. How can I fix that?

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: No
    Correct account: Yes

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to moderators and staff)

    Hi there, @soniabolden!

    It sounds like you want to make the page Home the homepage on your site. Is that right?

    If so, you can do so by heading to My Site → Appearance → Customize → Homepage Settings → under “Your homepage displays“, select A static page

    From there, set the page Home as your homepage and create a page like Blog to set as your posts page. Your set posts page is where all of your post will display.

    Once you create your Blog page and assign it as your posts page, be sure to update the link to the Blog page in your menu. You can do so via My Site → Appearance → Customize → Menus → Main → click on Blog and remove that menu item → click on + Add Items and add your newly created Blog page.
