Can't change homepage

  Hi Guys,

  I’ve been struggling with updating my homepage.

  When i go and change the homepaging settings under appearance -> customizer -> homepage settings or via Settings -> Read it doesn’t do anything.

  I’ve created pages and replaced them, it never effects my wordpress.

  Everytime i launch my website, it remains on the same ‘Welcome to WordPress. This is your first post. Edit or delete it, then start writing! ‘ page

  I’ve tried uploading themes etc, nothing does the trick for me.

  Please help me!

  Hi there!

  Have you published the page that you want to set as the homepage? If your page isn’t published, you won’t be able to set it as the homepage of your site. Also, if you have caching plugins, or if your host has some sort of caching enabled, you would want to clear the cache to see the new homepage.

  Also, please note that your site at nielfeest.be is using the WordPress.org software and is hosted elsewhere. We aren’t able to provide direct support for sites using WordPress.org as this forum is for WordPress.com sites.
