Cant’ change site address

  Hi!

  I’m trying to change one of my blogs address. I am the only owner of the blog, but after click to “change site address” it keep me showing this window saying “Only the site owner (avatarhood) can edit this domain name.”

  Well, as I said, I am the only owner, there’s no one else on command. This is not the first time I face this situation, because I know “avatarhood” is a generic name for some old account that no longer exists. There’s some way to solve this glitch so I can get the rights to change my own blog address?

  I’ve taken a look and fixed the owner mismatch issue on your virtualdreams8.wordpress.com site so you should not run into any issues updating the site address.

  Thank you very much! I checked and saw that it is now possible to change the blog address again. But could you help me again with two other blogs that are facing the same ownership issue? They were transferred to this account from an account that no longer exists.

  I reset these blogs to get them ready for future projects, but I didn’t expect to run into this problem. Thank you very much for your help.

  I’ve updated the ownership on both of those blogs:

  • virtualdreams6.wordpress.com
  • virtualdreams7.wordpress.com

  You should now be able to change the site address on both. Let me know if you run into any other issues!
