Can’t Change the Home Page

    Hi,
    I am creating a new homepage for an established site. Due to the many changes I had to make, I created a completely new page, but I can’t seem to replace the old homepage with it. I went to Settings -> Reading to set my new page as the home page, and I went to Appearance -> Menu to add that page to the website’s menu. This new home page is listed as the Front Page, and its permalink is our original URL.

    But when I type the URL into the search bar, the old home page comes up. In order to see the new one, I actually have to click the ‘Home’ button in the menu. I feel like I’ve done all the steps correctly, but the landing page is still the old one!

    Any help would be appreciated.
