Can't comment on a WordPress blog

  There’s a WordPress blog that I want to comment on. It said that in order to comment I had to be logged in, but the blog had no registration link. So I registered on WordPress.org and then on WordPress.com — but I still can’t comment on that blog. The blog is http://www.atone.me.

  WordPress is a mess.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  http://www.atone.me/ is without an single iota of doubt, a WordPress.ORG install and not a free hosted WordPress.com blog.

  We do not provide support at WordPress.COM for any installs of WordPress.ORG software. We provide support only for free hosted WordPress.COM blogs being hosted right here on this multiuser blogging platform.

  WordPress.com and WordPress.org have different log-ins and run different versions of themes with same names.WordPrtess.org blogger can require you to register on their blogs to be able to post comments on their blogs.

  Bottom line: We cannot help you here at WordPress.COM.

  WordPress.COM is not a mess.
  I’m telling you truth when I say that blog is a WordPress.ORG install.
  Go to the footer of the blog and click the “proudly powered by WordPress” link in it.

  WP.org always sends people over here when they can’t help or don’t know the answer. We cannot help you.

  Why are there two web sites anyway? They both use the same logo, so it’s the same organization.

  Like I said, a mess. For my own blog, I’ll stick with Blogger.

  If the sites have the same logo, they must be run by the same organization.

  All I can say is that my first contact with WordPress has been tremendously frustrating.

  They are run by the same organization, but they are different versions of the software. Gmail and Blogger are both run by Google, but they don’t work the same, nor can the Gmail people help you with problems with Blogger.
