Can’t Connect with My Blogspot to add content

  I’ve had this problem previously; I have a wordpress blogspot: https://belovedbastard.wordpress.com/
  However, today I wanted to write and post a new blog and when I clicked onto ‘My Site’ at the top left corner of the page, nothing appeared and I was invited to create my own site. This is quite frustrating. This is the second time this has happened; what am I doing wrong? Thanks for your help.

  To manage the site, https://belovedbastard.wordpress.com/, you need to be logged in as the username, davidmhindman
