Cant create a page, looads free and other options but click and nothing happens

  Hope someone can help me, trying to create a free page, need to learn fast to help my boss, just got this second hand laptop running windows 7 I do believe. Got registered but cant get the page to create. I get to the create page and it shows all the option of free premium etc, but when I click on the free button nothing happens, nor do any of the upgraded ones work for me either, and advice?
