Can’t delete my connection to labourinterationalparis.wordpress.com or delete the website
-
I used to run the Paris branch of Labour International (a long time ago) Our version of the organisation was closed down and replaced, some time after I left, and the old new boss didn’t shut down the site. I’m not even supposed to be an administrator on the site. I’d like to sever the links. Furthermore, my premier site is aboutwriting.org, and I can’t reblog with this through wordpress (the only option that turns up is labourinternationalparis.) I’d like to either sever my link to labourinternational paris or just go ahead and delete the website, while preserving my id and link to aboutwriting.org – I deleted two other defunct blogs via the ‘delete’ function in my profile, but it doesn’t seem to appear on this blog! It would also be great if I could reblog to aboutwriting! Can you help?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The blog I want to get rid of is labourinternationalparis.wordpress.com
There’s a new labour group in paris, but I try my very best to have nothing to do with politics anymore!

Hi there,
Your account is only an Editor on that site, so you do not have the ability to delete it.
To delete that site you would have to be logged in as the admin account that owns the site, labourinternationalparis.
However, if you just want to disconnect your account from that site, you can do that. If you go to https://labourinternationalparis.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs, you will see an option to Leave Blog when you hover your mouse over the title for that site.
Furthermore, my premier site is aboutwriting.org, and I can’t reblog with this through wordpress
This is unrelated to the WordPress.com site in your account.
Your site at http://www.aboutwriting.org/ uses the open source WordPress software found on WordPress.org, and is connected to your account with the Jetpack plugin, so it is not a WordPress.com site.
However, the Reblogging feature is only available for WordPress.com sites, i.e. the Reblog button will only appear on a WordPress.com site, and you can only make a Reblog to a WordPress.com site.
If you want a way to easily share posts created by other to your site, you can use the Share button that appears in the WordPress.com Reader – when you do that it will create a draft post on any WordPress.com or Jetpack site in your account with a link back to the post you shared. Or you can install the Press This plugin on your site that will allow you to do basically the same thing, but from another site itself, rather than from the Reader.
