Can't edit my domain.

I followed all the steps described through you and squarespace, to get my domain transferred to squarespace, and I am running into issues.
Here is what the squarespace customer service said:“I checked your DNS settings with:
http://who.is/whois/getwiredandstoned.com
It looks like you have too many A records and too many CNAMES.
You’ll want to access DNS settings and set a single A record pointing to: 198.185.159.135
And a CNAME: http://www.getwiredandstoned.com -> ext.squarespace.com
Other CNAMES and A records should be removed.”We decided to move it immediately after purchase about 2 week ago, and saw all the steps we would have to take, and jut decided to delete it and start over. Unfortunately, we never got the confirmation e-mail, so we weren’t able to actually delete it:(

I should note after I got the info from squarespace , I tried to make the changes they told me to, but WordPress would NOT let me edit them!!

Sorry for the trouble. It’s a good thing you didn’t cancel your domain, registrars are not required to release a domain that has been cancelled. So you may not have been able to purchase the domain again if you had done that.
Squarespace does not accept incoming transfers, but the way you’re setting it up now is exactly what you need to do.
It looks like you added a new A record instead of editing the current one. I’ve corrected this for you and your site should start working soon.
