can’t edit pages
-
When I want to edit a page I click on the pencil and another window opens up. My text is there but it won’t let me click in the box to edit the page. I read somewhere that perhaps I need to disable pluggins. I have no idea how to do this or what this means.

Hi laurashanley282624797,
I’ve checked your account and there are no sites listed there. Can you send a link to the site you need to edit?
Just let me know and we can from there.

For some reason now I am able to edit, after it not working all week. But I am still having problems. When I click on the pencil a little box pops up that I can now get into. But I can only see two lines at a time, so it’s very hard to edit. And I can’t figure out how to make the font in the first paragraph larger, like it is in my other articles. Someone else created my site but he has since dropped off the face of the earth apparently. http://www.unassistedchildbirth.com

Hi @laurashanley282624797, the site you referenced is a self-hosted site. If you look in your plugins, you will likely see one that says something like Visual Composer or WordPress Bakery. That is a page builder and from the looks of things your site is utilizing that, which makes things more complex to work with than just working in the WordPress editor. The plugin is a premium plugin, so the person that built your site should have given you the login information to get to support help for that plugin. If not, I would suggest looking through the WPBakery Knowledge Base as it looks like it may have enough to get you started on editing things.
Since your site is self-hosted, the best place to post for help is in the WordPress.org support forums. This forum is for those hosted here at WordPress.com.
