Can't edit text
-
I have been using WordPress for years to post my weekly blogs. I copy/paste the blog in section by section. When I paste each section in, some formating is lost. For example, it skips 3 lines between paragraphs instead of one. So, I go back and edit it. This week when I tried to post my blog by pasting in the first section, the strip at the top of page with editing tools (bold, font, links, etc.) disappears. And when I click in the area where I have pasted my blog, big black boxes appear that cover up that section and prevent me from doing any editing.
Does anyone have an idea what is going on & how to prevent it?
Alternatively, is this a temporary glitch that WordPress is working on fixing? The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there!
Is there any particular reason why you paste the text to WordPress.com from another text processor?
Most word processors were created for creating documents to be shared or printed, with a wealth of print-based options for indexing and producing tables of contents. However, as web publishing tools, they are a little less than ideal and can create messy HTML.Because of this, we strongly encourage our users to use WordPress.com post editor to create content and formatting on the fly. If you desire to do offline blog post creation, you can do it using our mobile app.
