Can’t find account info

Someone (possibly an agency) created our account in 2013: https://golfroseanimalhospital.wordpress.com/ I cannot log in to update it, and I do not have any of the required verification pieces since I did not create the site. My colleagues do not know the login info either. How can I recover our site? Is there anywhere else I can actually contact WordPress?

For security reasons, we can only help with account recovery if the request comes from the email address we have on file for the owner of the site or you can provide proof of ownership information. Without either, we won’t be able to help you recover the site for security reasons.
If you do not have that information, I recommend trying to contact the agency who originally created the site if you or your colleagues have those details noted somewhere.

Is there any other way I can provide proof of ownership? This is our business, and the information on the blog is inaccurate. There should be a way to “reclaim” it or at least delete it due to inaccuracy.

@golfrose213 if you had an agency make the site for you, have them reach out to us and we’ll help them get it removed.
You can also try leaving a comment on the site to have them get in touch with you.

I do not know who created the site. I did comment on it, but no one has responded. There is truly no other way to claim this blog as our own? It has inaccurate information about our business.

We cannot give you access to a site that belongs to another user unless you can verify you own the account that created the site. So if you’re unable to do that, we won’t be able to give you access.
