Can’t find where custom code is located to edit it
-
I am working with a custom website that someone else created for my company. My boss wants me to take out an external link to review us that no longer exists. The text and link ‘review us!’ are right at the top of the homepage, and it must be buried in custom code because I can’t find where it’s located to get rid of it. I’ve checked in the widgets, in the menus, in the ‘custom html’ section of the homepage customization, on the ‘Homepage’ Page, and cannot find it.

Hi there,
Can you please let me know your site’s address so I can point you in the right direction of getting support?

Hi, sure. It’s http://www.catchfiremarketing.com
The part I’m trying to access is at the top where it says “Review Us!” , and that search bar, and also that social media icon menu underneath, can’t find where that is either to be able to update some of the icons.

The site mentioned does not use our managed hosting environment from WordPress.com. Instead, it’s set up on the open source WordPress.org software which is something different.
This page talks about this differences in more detail:
Help with that site comes from https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
