Can't fully use domain at DreamHost

Hello!
I was basically fooled by similar to wordpress.org name and already cancelled my personal plan here, but I want to keed domain I registered here as well.
But when I try to use this domain where I want, I keep redirected to wordpress.com subdomain and can’t create a new site from scratch using “normal” wordpress software.
When I try to delete site here, is says I have premium upgrades but I don’t (unless you call domain registration a premium upgrade).
I’m complete beginner with this stuff, so got confused easily. Please help!

Are you speaking of the domain, mephilin.com?
That domain is correctly pointed to Dreamhost’s servers.
There might be additional steps to connect it your site with them. Please contact their support directly for help with that, as we have no access to your Dreamhost account to help you with this.

Looks like I simply had to wait after DNS names change. Also I’ve moved wordpress.com site to other subdomain (renamed existing?) and requested DNS update or something like this at DreamHost website. Not sure what of this helped.
Still, I’d suggest more clearly state at your guides that changing domain DNS names takes some time.
