Cant get access to new blog I was invited to

  Hello,

  I Have an external site linked to wordpress.com as I was using the jetpack plug in. I was given an invite to contribute to another wordpress.com blog which I accepted (with the same e-mail as my external sites wordpress.com e-mail address) but I cant figure out how to get access to the site to post to it.

  When ever I try to access the sites wordpress.com/wp-admin/ section it redirects me to my external sites wpadmin. the new site dose not show up in my list of sites, I made a wordpress.com site thinking that only an external site was the issue but still cant join the site.

  Is there a way to do this that I have missed?

  Is there a way to volunteer to the site to join?

  or do I have to e-mail them and make a new wordpress.com account not linked to the external site?

  Thanks in advance for any advice or insight you can provide for me.

  The invite that you received was just to create a WordPress.com account.

  Now that you have one, they’ll need to add you as a user on the blog.
