can't get into blog, want to delete it

I can no longer access my blog and want to delete it. I can’t get into the account, the email I had it under was old and I can’t get into that email account. I can’t remember the password for the blog. It is http://www.paigecochran.wordpress.com

You will need Staff help. In order to help you get access to your blog Staff need one of the following things in order to correctly identify you as the blog owner:
1. an email from the email address associated with the account or revealing what that associated email address was
2. the wordpress.com API key for your account. This was included in your welcome email with a note to keep it safe. Please do not post the API key here
3. if you have purchased any upgrades for the blog a transaction number

I have emails from my current account that state that I can no longer access my old acct. Will that work? I absolutely cannot get into my old email acct- but when my name is searched on google- this blog comes up first. and it is not professional at all. so I am begging staff, please let me use these emails as proof. also, i can provide a picture of myself, which there is a picture of me in the blog. i have tattoos, they match up! how do i send the emails to staff?

I also have a photo of an old resume with the email address on it, proving that it was my acct. Here it is. How do I attach a photo to this forum?

You can’t put a picture in the forum – only a link to it – for security reasons don’t put a link – if you have a current blog you can get into you can put it into the media section but don’t link to it – the staff can look at your media library – but at this point best to wait for instructions from the staff – someone removed the flag for the staff but I added it back for you

The email address on file is the main way we have to verify you are the same person that created the blog. As timethief mentioned, you can also verify ownership using the API key or a Transaction ID.

Designsimply – is there no way that using the old email on my resume as verification would work? It’s all I have and I am applying for jobs right now. I really want this down. Please? Anything?

No. I’m sorry but we don’t give out access to blogs without verifying ownership and an email on a resume does not qualify as verification.
