Can't Get Jetpack Comments to Show Up

  I have activated the comments section of Jetpack but it does not show up. I only see the old comment box.

  I turned off Captcha and do not see any other relevant plugins that could cause a conflict.

  I also tried to remove old form in the comments.php and put comment_form() in its place. The old form disappeared and the text comment_form() showed up in its place.

  Could you try to temporarily switch to a different theme to see if that helps?

  It would be difficult since it is our live site. We have had the site up for a long time so maybe the Jetpack comments is not compatible. Could that be an issue?

  Yes, that’s what we’re thinking may be the issue, but the only way to be sure would be to just switch to a more current theme, like Twenty Eleven, for just a few seconds to check.
