Can't get my site address again
-
Hi,
I was facing some issues in my blog, so from your support posts, I came across to delete the site. And, I did so. But, now, while I am trying to get the same address i.e. http://pabitrapati.wordpress.com, I am unable to get that domain. Can you please help me out?
Also, the issue I was facing previously, was while I was choosing any theme, and clicking on the Home link it was showing me ‘Oops page not found’ and same for all page like (like Blog, Contact, About). The blog page is expected to list all the blogs, but it was not. It would be great, if you can make those fixes and make those things simpler for users, or else can have a documentation for the users to start with all such bloody designs that shows your inefficiency.

Sorry. That is not possible. You ignored all the warnings and deleted the site https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/, rather than emptying it https://en.support.wordpress.com/empty-site/ or transferring the blog to another username account http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-user-or-account
Deleting a blog URL is not easily done and multiple warnings that deletion is intended to be permanent and non-reversible are given all along the way. An email with a link in it that must be clicked to delete the site is sent and if clicked the URL is gone.
Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and the only exceptions are made are for URLs that were deleted 2 or more years ago. http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/
You can register another .wordpress.com blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/
Then if you wish to you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.

As I was new, I was un-aware of all these. Also, I have not received any email with link to confirm deletion.
And, since my settings were messed up, I came to know about resetting it from one of the blog, which was saying to delete the site and create it again. So i did.
And, it was really funny as well as shameful, that in so much advanced age of technology, to recycle a blog URL, you guys take at least 2 years. It’s just a matter of removing a record from database where ever you store the same. Putting such constraints sometimes make users to hate wordpress, and choose other sites as their blogging domain. And, there is no valid justification for putting such constraints of not providing back the same domain to user again.
Really this seems a stupid conditions, which of no use, rather makes your customer to go away.
Also, it would be great how can I remove my account, (un-register) myself and delete account from wordpress. Because, I don’t see any help and this is really very complicated for a new user, neither am I getting my domain address back. You guys have messed it up with ‘Opps, page not found’ in all headings.

We cannot do this for you. You have to act.
All blogs are independent websites. What you do on one has NO impact on others. To delete a WordPress.COM hosted blog you must be logged in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the blog to navigate to Dashboard > Tools > Delete Site. The guide is here http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/
https://wordpress.com/settings/delete-site/NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com
*Replace “NAME_OF_BLOG” with the actual name of the blog in the URL above.
If you are not logged in under the correct username account then clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies prior to logging into another account
If the log-in information is lost you need to visit https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made except for the one stated here http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/
To empty site content and keep the URL see here https://en.support.wordpress.com/empty-site/
Alternatively, to change blog visibility to Private go to > Settings > Reading scroll to Blog Visibility and choose option 3. See the guide here http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings

Private User Data https://en.support.wordpress.com/private-user-data/ and other information disclosed in the privacy policy https://automattic.com/privacy/Here’s how to deactivate your account:
Although username accounts are not deleted, so you cannot be impersonated and have your reputation affected by anyone registering the same username in the future, there are steps you can take that amount to removing all personal information and result in leaving only a throwaway email address behind. http://en.support.wordpress.com/deleting-accounts/1. You can go to My Account->Edit Profile and remove all data except the account name and an email address. Create a throwaway email address and change the account email to that throwaway address. This only leaves the username behind.
2. To unsubscribe from email sent to you from WordPress.com, go here and click on “Block all subscription emails from WordPress.com”:
https://wordpress.com/settings/notifications/3. To ensure the account is locked up tightly, visit this site, generate a password of 15-20 characters, and change the account password to it:

IMPORTANT NOTE: Deleting blogs and/or blog content or making the site private does not remove indexed content from the SERPs (search engine page results) and we cannot help with that. Google and Bing only clear their caches of deleted indexed content that produces a 404 (page not found) every 3 – 6 months. To completely remove an entire page from Google search results after it produces a 404 (page not found):

Is there any way where I can regain it? Because while I am going to Account settings, Uncer web address, I can still see https://pabitrapati.wordpress.com/ address. So, there must be some way to recover it.
Also as mentioned in exception part, https://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/, I can see my site here :-
“Do you see a deleted site with an address you would like to have? ”
So the next line says :-
“You can try registering a new site with that address here. If it is available, it will be yours.”
But, while I am trying to register it again, it is not allowing me.
And, it makes me feel your design is really stupid, by going throught he procedure you have mentioned for an user to de-register and delete his account. I mean, really !!! Can’t you allow them to simply delete their account, rather you are asking them to provide a throwaway mail id !!! I mean, it really sounds stupid, whoever has made the design decision for this.
You guys are just making this unnecessarily complicated by putting such constraints, nothing else. Grow up guys and throw such immature design decisions.
