Can't get rid of header image
-
Hi! I’ve done everything I can think of including clearing my cookies/cache, changing themes, etc etc etc to try to get rid of the header image. A header image (people in a coffee shop) just stays there even if I have ‘no header image’ selected. I have no idea what else to try to get rid of it.
I’m trying to build ‘melissagliddenteaches.wordpress.com’ and the theme I’m using is Penscratch 2, but this header image appears with ALL themes I’ve tried, so I really have no idea what to do anymore.
I saw someone else had this problem today in the forums, but they didn’t get any good advice. They were advised to clear the cache/cookies but they said that didn’t work for them, either.
I’m using Google Chrome on a macbook pro, if that helps.
Thanks!

It says “the blog I need help with is mommylovesevey.wordpress.com” but that’s not it. Just a heads up. It’s the other one I said. (Melissagliddenteaches)

Howdy yesthisagain!
All your pages have Images, And the image you talk about is on the Home Page, So it is not the header Image, it is an image in the Page, your Page must be set to Static Home page and the Image appears on it. Go to Themes–>Customise–>Static Front page
Choose “Your Latest Post”
Or if you would like to change the Static Page, then just check which page is selected and go to the particular page and do the needed Edits to the page to remove the image.Hope this helps, let us know for further questions..!
Regards
