  Hello I been trying for weeks to get Jetpack to work on site. http://www.thecomputergroup.co.cc When I try to connect to WordPress.com I get this error:

  “Jetpack could not contact WordPress.com: register_http_request_failed. This usually means something is incorrectly configured on your web host.” “Could not open handle for fopen() to http://jetpack.wordpress.com/jetpack.register/1/”

  Please help me get this up and working.

  Do you have any luck if you deactivate all plugins except Jetpack?

  Theme functions can sometimes interfere like plugins, so if that doesn’t help, please try temporarily switching to the Twenty Eleven theme.
