Can't insert gallery into a new post

  I have been reading your support on how to insert a gallery into a new post and I am struggling with this.
  I uploaded images into my media library for a new page I created yesterday – so these images have been used already. I now want to upload three of these into today’s blog. Seen as they’re already there, I don’t want to upload them again. However, I can insert them as a gallery into my new post. How do I do this? I keep saving the changes, but the gallery option doesn’t appear and now I am completely baffled.

  Hi. If the images are already in your media library, you have to use a manual shortcode with each attachment ID. Example: [gallery include="1,2,3,4,5"]. More info here:
