Can’t log into website – ‘error occurred trying to send SMS’ with Twilio 2-step verify

    We had set up Twilio 2-step verification but now we can’t login to our website and are receiving this message ‘error occurred trying to send SMS’ – no idea how to fix this issue if we can’t login to our website.

    Hi there,

    What is the address of the site you’re trying to access? We don’t have an option to set up Twilio 2FA on WordPress.com, and 2FA is enabled per account, not per site, on WordPress.com, so it sounds like you might be using the open source WordPress software instead.

    If that’s the case it would be best to contact the developer for the 2FA plugin you’re using directly.
