Can’t logon

  I have been unable to login to my site – wiltshiremammals.wordpress.com – & think the default email for it might be my old work email (which I thought I’d changed). How can I update this please, I have a copy of the email from when I set it up but no other ID to allow me to use the online site recovery.

  Hi there,

  Does the email you have contain the account activation link? If so, you should be able to use the unique ID in that link to verify your ownership via our account recovery form:

  Recover Your Account

  Let me know if that’s not the email you’re speaking of.

  Thanks, but no it seems to just have links to WordPress itself so nothing with a unique ID.

  If you no longer have access to the email connected to the account nor the activation link, we’ll need to have you reach out to the Account Recovery Team to see if there is any other way we can confirm ownership of the account. You can email them at passwordhelp@wordpress.com. Usually, email and the activation link are the two non upgrade options we use to verify an account, but we can try to have the team look further into this for you and see if there is anything else we can do.

  Thanks. I do have a copy of the email but it does not have any useful link or ID embedded in it that I can see. I’ll email that email address thanks.
