Can't make my site look like the Sela theme
-
I’ve tried everything and can’t get my page to look like the Sela theme. I just want the front page to be static and have the 3 widgets on the bottom (I’ve kind of done that part). But I can’t get the header size big enough, or get the logo above everything.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’m having the same exact issue. I can’t get my blog to look like the template with the 3 widgets and big picture.

@ thecharminglyon,
See the Sela theme guide. One of the most important steps that you may have missed is to set the template at Page Attributes of your static front page to the Front Page Template.
But I can’t get the header size big enough…
The large image below the title and menu on the front page of the Sela demo is technically not a header image, it’s a featured image. So as a first step toward achieving your goal you might add a featured image to the “Home” page, your static front page.
…or get the logo above everything.
See the Site Logo support page. The demo doesn’t have a site logo. What happens when you add a logo?
…and have the 3 widgets on the bottom (I’ve kind of done that part).
Well done. Let us know if you want help with other features of the theme, such as setting up the front page widgets, or the testimonials.

@ whitrina,
Which website are you referring to? http://urbanteachermamas.com/ does not have the Sela theme activated.
