    Hi,

The default menu on most themes displays only a homepage link and static pages. If you use My Sites for editing pages, see the Parent Page section of the Page Options support page for some murky hints on how to arrange pages in hierarchies, with parent and child relationships.

If, like me, you prefer to use the old wp-admin post and page editors, use the drop-down menu labeled “Parent” in the Page Attributes module of an editor to create parent-child relationships.

Alternatively, you could use a custom menu. The section of the Custom Menus support page that deals with creating a “sub menu” item says:

You can also add a drop-down to your menu using the drag-and-drop feature.

    1. Add the link to your menu that will appear in a drop-down list.
    2. Drag it and drop it directly beneath the main menu item you want it to be found under.
    3. Drag it again, this time to the right, so it indents beneath the main menu item, and drop it there.

    followed by an animated demonstration.
