Can't post photos in new blog

  I logged onto my account this evening to draft a new post and the entire format seems to have changed since I last posted nine days ago. In fact, I don’t seem to be able to upload photos at all. There is no “media” button and when I click on the “feature image” or “insert gallery” nothing happens. Even if those did upload photos, however, I do not want a feature image and a gallery, I want photos interspersed amongst my text as I have always done on my blog. This is very frustrating- please help.

  Our team is working on some updates and changes to the new post page here: https://wordpress.com/post/

  Currently, you can add images to your posts by dragging & dropping them in the space below the post editor to create a gallery. Our team is also working on updates to that feature so you can add images as single images as well as galleries.

  If you prefer to add a single image at a time, you can still do that using the post editor under Posts > All Posts in your blog’s dashboard. (You can get to that dashboard with the “Dashboard” link on your My Blogs page.)
