can’t restore content to a page

  I added some text to a page, Updated the page, but when I ‘visited the page’ ALL the content apart from the title was gone. I have gone back into the page and went through ‘history’ to find a previous version of the content, I restored it and re-added the new text I wanted to put in, then when I hit Update and visit the page again – the content is still not there!!!!???? I can see it all in ‘Edit page’ just not on the final version of teh page…
