Can't Select Publish Date

  I’ve been using my on screen keyboard to publish posts on my Windows 10 tablet and I’ve never had problems selecting the date before but for some reason I can’t do it now. I can get the calendar to drop down, I can scroll to the month, I can change the time, but it doesn’t matter how much I jab at it I can’t select the backdate I want. I usually use Google Chrome but I’ve tried it on Microsoft Edge too to no avail. What am I doing wrong?

  Is your blog a basic (non subscription) blog?

  I am currently having a similar issue- I can’t select the month I want/need for any of my posts!

  I usually try to change the date of a blog post by going to ‘Post Settings’ then ‘Status’ for that post. The ‘Quick Edit’ function I used to use seems to have disappeared…

  Hi travelnshit,

  Are you trying to select a day to backdate an already published post? Or are you having trouble selecting a day to backdate a post before publishing it?

  Hi travelnshit,

  Just wanted to give you an update — we’ve been able to replicate this behaviour in our testing so I’m going to create a bug report.

  In the meantime, there is a workaround you can try:

  1. Load Chrome
  2. Visit chrome://flags
  3. Scroll down to Touch Events API
  4. Select Disabled

  I hope that does the trick.
