Can’t set in reverse chronological order

  I have my settings on default standard. However, my posts do not show newest to oldest. In fact it has no order that makes sense. I want newest to oldest. How can I fix this?

  You have older posts appearing at the top because those posts are set as sticky, forcing them to always appear at the top of the front page.

  Edit those posts and un-stick them, and your most recent post will appear at the top instead.
