Cant sign in

    Hi there , I’m trying to sign in to my blog page . I am brand new and I have asked for a link to change the password and login. A link was sent to me and as soon as enter it and login . ERROR: Invalid username. Lost your password?
    Ive made at least 5 or 6 attempts with the same result. However I can sign into my word press. I assumed that there was one login and password for the whole thing, assuming that blog is in wordpress . Very confusing. I’d like to talk with someone.

    Hi there,

    Where exactly are you trying to log in? The fact that you can post here means you’re logged into the WordPress.com account with the username, odonovj, and you should be able to access both sites in this account, http://handymanonthehill.wordpress.com/ and https://handymanonthehillcom.wordpress.com/ without needing to log into anything else.

    If you’re trying to sign into a different site directly, then your other site most likely is using the open source WordPress software at another host, and your WordPress.com account details will not work for that site, as that site has nothing to do with your WordPress.com account.

    To log into the admin area for a self-hosted WordPress site you need to use the unique username and password that were created for that site when the site itself were created. Please contact your hosting provider for help if you did not receive those credentials from them when setting up your site.
