Can’t subscribe to updates

  I entered my email address and was told ‘Your subscription did not succeed, please try again with a valid email address.’ WTF? I’ve had this email address ((email visible only to moderators and staff)) since 1985.

  Hi there,

  I see that you’re already subscribed to that site (rommelsriposte.com) and you will receive an email when a new post is up.

  Also, where did you try to subscribe and got that message?

  Hmmm… I haven’t received any notifications although new content has been generated.

  With respect to ‘where did you try’: At the bottom right of the rommelsriposte.com page, there’s a subscription link.

  By the way, that site does not show up in my WordPress Reader list of blogs I follow.

  It looks like you’ve blocked us from sending subscription emails.

  To fix that, first log out of WordPress.com at https://wordpress.com/me (this is absolutely crucial)

  Then, visit https://subscribe.wordpress.com

  Enter your email address, and you’ll be sent a link to manage your subscriptions.

  After clicking that link, go to the Settings tab, and uncheck “Block all email updates from blogs you’re following on WordPress.com”
