Can’t Upload Audio

    I’ve been struggling with uploading music for an hour and each time I try, it’s not possible to do it. The song I want to upload is an .mp4 file and for some reason, the site will not allow ANY .mp3 or .mp4 files whatsoever. I really want to upload the song but how can I when this site won’t remotely allow any audio uploads? Especially when this problem has been occurring for more than ten years? Please let me know if there’s a solution to this problem. Thank you.

    Hi there, to upload audio files to your WordPressdotcom site’s Media Library requires an upgrade. However, you can embed audio files that are uploaded elsewhere on the web as well. You can learn more about that here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/audio/
