Cant upload files

    Hi, I’m trying to upload files to my new word press account. But it won’t let me saying my files should be in a zip or XML files? so I zipped the file but still won’t let me upload the files. I would appreciate your help on this matter. As I’m new to WordPress

    Hi Darren,

    If you had to manually zip the file, then you didn’t start with a valid WordPress export file. A WordPress export will always be either a single file ending in .xml, or a .zip folder containing multiple .xml files for the site.

    What is the file extension of the file you’re trying to import, and where did you get that file?
