Cant upload theme purchased from themeforrest

    Hi, I purchased a theme from themeforrest and I’m in the WordPress dashboard and I can’t install my purchased theme. I’ve gone to the appearance tab, clicked ‘Theme’ but all I see are other themes to purchase/activate. There is no ‘Add New’ button to upload my theme. Please help, I have a huge deadline I can’t miss.

    This is a common error. Here at WordPress.com you can only use one of the hundreds of free and premium themes available here. Themes purchased elsewhere can only be used on self-hosted WordPress.org installs:-

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org
