Can’t use a deleted email account as secondary email in Gravatar

  Hello, please let me know if there’s a better place to ask about this.

  A while ago, I accidentally tried to log in into my Gravatar profile using a secondary email instead of my primary email. Apparently, this creates a new WordPress account under the secondary email and unbinds it from the original Gravatar account. “No matter”, I thought, “I’ll just delete the new account and rebind it to the old one as soon as the email gets freed up.”

  I believe a month has passed since then (the period of account termination), but now Gravatar won’t let me add this email as secondary, saying that it’s associated to a different Gravatar account. As expected, when trying to log in as the secondary email will just let me know that my account has been deleted.

  What can I do about this? Does this mean that I am no longer able to have a profile for that email address ever again? I saw that I can fill an account recovery form, is my best option to do that and just maintain 2 simultaneous accounts forever?
