Can’t use my own domain name for my website.

  I’m trying to use my own domain name ‘xn--1pqt3k4yffyvmr2a.wedding’ for my website. However, it kept saying that I can’t use this domain because there’s ‘forbidden phrases’. My domain, translated into traditional Chinese is 沅伸和蕾婷.wedding, which is my wife’s and my name. I don’t understand which part of that is violating any rule or policy?

  Internationalized domains, such as the ones with Chinese characters in the name, are not supported on WordPress.com. You can learn more about this here: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/connect-existing-domain/#internationalized-domain-names-id-ns

  It will not work even if you try adding it as xn--1pqt3k4yffyvmr2a.wedding because we don’t support internationalized domains. If you must use this domain for your website, please use a different hosting. We have some recommendations on this link.
