  I cannot access my account cantankerousandgregarious which supports the website candgblog.com which I pay for each year.

  It should be sending reset emails to the email associated with this account and it is not doing so which is preventing me from logging into to write a post this year. I would like to do so ASAP.   As you have a transaction ID, did you alreay try yourself as described at https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/verify-ownership/#transaction-id
