Captions not working and theme customisation problems

  Dear all,

  I hope that you can help. The captions on my wordpress.com account are not working. I have tried adding the captions when they are in media file format and also when they are in the page. When I click on the image, add in the caption and click update, the caption initially appears. However, when I preview the site, click “save as draft” or “publish” I lose the caption.

  Also I have tried to change the colour scheme on my site and although it changes on the customisation section, when I look at the site, nothing changes. I am using Safari and have been through the usual activities such as clearing the browser history and clearing cookies as per your advice. This hasn’t achieved anything.

  I would be truly grateful for anyone’s thoughts. All the best.

  As far as the first part of your post, I’ve tagged this for Staff assistance.

  As far as the second part of your post, can you please try using a different browser. Chrome and Firefox are the preferred browsers and I know that in the past there have been some issues with Safari.

  FWIW-Using Chrome 32, I just switched my test site to twenty fourteen and used the Customizer to change to the blue color scheme without problem.
