  This was for the Personal Plan on byprairielightdesigns.com, but it’s under a different account here, not the one you’re currently logged in as.

  If you do not recall the password for the correct account, you can use the transaction ID that you posted to recover access to it by following the steps at https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/#account-recovery-form

  I don’t understand what that means. I have 2 sites…one is the byprairielightdesigns which I tried to upgrade from carolsquilting.wordpress.com. The other is kunnerup.wordpress.com which has the upgrade in the cart still. Both show that I can upgrade, but neither show the upgrade I purchased. These are all I have. That is is. I have no other word press accounts.

  You have two accounts here.

  The one you are currently logged in under has access to https://carolsquilting.wordpress.com/ and https://kunnerup.wordpress.com/

  The other account has access to https://byprairielightdesigns.wordpress.com/ which also holds both the Personal Plan and incoming byprairielightdesigns.com domain transfer.

  If you do not recall the password for that second account, you can use the transaction ID that you posted earlier to recover access to it by following the steps at https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/#account-recovery-form

  Oh no. I don’t know exactly how that would happen. Can the accounts be merged? I understand now. I will try to recover that account. If they can be merged, that would be amazing.

  Yes, once you have access to that second account, you can move the site and its upgrades to the first account by following the steps at https://wordpress.com/support/transferring-a-site-to-another-wordpress-com-account/
