Catastrophic crash

  I have recently experienced a complete meltdown on my computer where all the details on my hard drive have been lost.

  I can’t for the life of me remember the password to access the admin for my WP site.

  I have managed to get a WP admin login but it isn’t linked to my site.
  Can anybody tell me what I need to do to rectify this problem?

  What is the URL of the site you are referring to?

  I do not see any sites connected to the account you are contacting us from. Is it a WordPress.com hosted site?

  I call the site up and type /admin which gives me a login page. As I can’t remember the password I ask for a reset but get no reply.

  I checked your site and it appears you’re in the wrong forum. Although your site is connected to WordPress.com via Jetpack, it is using the open source WordPress.org software and you need to seek help at these forums:
