How do you add links in the form of a drop down menu under a category name?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Open the widget and click __ show as a dropdown
then click “save” and “close”

My understanding of a drop down menu is that items are invisible until the main category is chosen. I tried the above but it didn’t work. I simply get a visible list. I want my list to be invisible until required. I prefer to use drop down menus because they save a lot of space.

Julia,
Will you please post the URL for the blog in question do we can see it starting with http:// -
We are in the process of putting our website together. We haven’t gone online yet. Search engines are still blocked. I did more research and it is possible that we may need a plugin to do drop down menus.

We still need the URL of your site on WordPress.com to give you accurate help the link with your name is a dead link. If you are using Plug-in’s then you are not hosted here.

@juliadonovan
Please allow me to cut to the chase. This forum is ONLY for those who have free blogs being free hosted by wordpress.COM. I asked for the URL to your blog because I suspected that yours was not a free blog being free hosted by wordpress.COM.The bottom line is that wordpress.COM free hosted blogs and wordpress.ORG installs run on different software and the correct answers to the same questions can be different answers. Also note that there is no FTP access to free hosted wordpress.COM blogs so we cannot upload plugins into them. Please post the URL for the blog in question starting with http://
