Categories are not registering on my front page

  My categories are not showing up on my page.
  http://burlingtonscificafe.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit-tags.php?taxonomy=category&paged=1
  I named them and clicked apply. The only one that shows up is the misc category

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  Your categories are set up properly, but categories only appear on your site after you’ve published at least one post in that category. Otherwise, they’ll stay hidden. They only category you’ve used so far is the “Misc Comments” category, so that’s the only one you’ll see on your site.
