Categories disappeared from blog view

My categories disappeared from the blog. I can’t see them there. How can I make them show up?

We can enter Categories in our dashboard they cannot but they will not display in the Categories widget until there is one published post in each Category. Have the Categories you created in your dashboard been assigned to any published posts?
