Categorizing posts

Hello, I haven’t made a post on my website in years and I just made some updates to it. I added a new post and don’t know how to categorize it. I made categories a while ago, but I’m not seeing an option to select the appropriate category for my recent post. Can you please call me? I understand you’re having trouble assigning a category to your recently added post. Don’t worry; I’ll walk you through the process step-by-step:
- In the left-hand menu, click on “Posts” to access your list of posts.
- Locate the post you’ve recently added and click on the title or “Edit” link to open the editor.
- Once you’re in the post editor, look for the “Post” tab in the right-hand sidebar. If you don’t see the sidebar, click on the Settings icon in the top-right corner of the screen to reveal it.
- Under the “Post” tab, scroll down until you find the “Categories” section. You should see a list of categories that you’ve previously created.
- To assign a category to your post, simply click the checkbox next to the desired category. You can select multiple categories if needed.
- After selecting the appropriate category or categories, click the “Update” button in the top-right corner of the post editor to save your changes.
