Category link show all posts intead of its own posts

Hi friends:
Assuming there have 3 Categories
AA
BB
CC
100 posts
1-50 are under AA
51-100 are under BB
CC is a category without any posts.
Under
Posts->Categories
Hover any category name and click the “View” link
Either AA or BB show all the 100 posts, even the empty CC show 100 posts.
What I want is 1-50 show on {siteurl}/category/aa
51 – 100 show on {siteurl}/category/bb
and {siteurl}/category/cc should be an empty page.
I do know if I create a new page or post and using Query Loop and filter with taxonomy could have the result I want, but wondering WordPress should could show the correct contents under it’s own category.
Are there any kinds of addition setting/ configuration should be done?

Hi @carlosuncf36a6b17b, your template may simply not be set up to respect category filters. If you’re using a “custom” setting for example, you’ll need to add filters, or with default it can filter automatically if you’re viewing a category page.
