  How do I change my blog name? Thanks.

  The URL cannot be edited, but the name that appears at the top of the blog can be changed by going to settings > general in your dashboard.

  @ sacred: I went to settings and no “general” label . Thanks anyway.

  @ auxclass…….it’s my Blog name I want to change, not URL. Thanks.

  You need to be logged in as an Admin to change the name and see the Settings >> General Tab.

  I am Editor on another blog and I just looked and I can’t see the Settings >> General Tab.

  @ronabbass, unless you are not an admin on the blog, in the settings section in the left navigation module in the dashboard, the very first one listed under that will be “general” and if you click on that the first two entries are “site title” and “tagline.”

  I have the same problem as ronabbass. How do I log in as admin and not editor?

  The Admin needs to set your privileges to Admin. Most sites only have one Admin for security reasons (the Admin can delete the blog among other things) and we have a regular trail of people that had their blog deleted by a rouge Admin.

  Talk to your admin and get them to make the changes you need.
