Change Categories of my Blog

  Hi all, I’ve been struggling for some time with ordering the categories in my blog. I dont want them to be ordered by ID or Alphabetical order. Can anyone share some light here?I can think of anything at al, and my blog doesn’t look right with the categories all messed up here.Ideally I would like to do it without a plugin, but any feedback is very welcome.
