change category for existing post from uncategorized to one of my categories

  I wrote several posts and they show up as “uncategorized” as I did not realize there were categories until I finished them. Now I have created category names but cannot figure out how to put existing posts into a specific category. I tried several ways on the post under “edit” features but the category still shows up as uncategorized. Where are the instructions for changing uncatorized to one of my categories?

  Edit the Post and choose the Category you want for the Post – remember to un-check the Uncategorized box also – then Save Changes – a Post can be a member of more than one category
